Information / Adjustments :
Hello. This is Luiz from Peru. I own this car since 2013. The project that my friend Manuel (rado_devil in this database) started wasn't finished and I assumed the challenge. Today I'm proud and happy to say it is done, finally, but had to go through a lot of time and dedication.

This was a original 1990 G60 Corrado 1.8L 8v PG engine. Now it has a lot of modifications.

My friend Manuel started it all:
-Converted to 16v with BBM conversion kit.
-BBM Watercooler.
-BBM Lysholm Supercharger.
-Forged Wiseco Pistons 8.5:1.
-Forged Pauter Rods.
-BBM 16v Limited Chip.
-Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump.
-440cc Green Injectors.
-BBM Spark Plug Wires.
-Variable Fuel Pressure Regulator.
-ACT Flywheel, Clutch and Pressure Plate.
-Koni yellows adjustable shocks.
-Neuspeed Race lowering springs.
-17" OZ Superleggera Wheels with Kuhmo tires.
-Autometer Boost Gauge.
-Autometer AFR Gauge.
-Momo Race Steering Wheel.
-Momo Steering Wheel Hub.

The car was not ok. It was running poorly, boosting just 6psi, rough iddle, paint was in bad shape, suspension and steering components needed to be replaced, interiors not ok, sunroof not working, and more.

I decided to go for it. At first I did all the mechanical stuff and made the car run a lot better. But then I had a problem with the BBM Lysholm Supercharger, it was boosting only 10psi and I had the smaller BBM pulley available. It was supposed to boost about 18psi. I decided to go turbo.

What I did:
-Turbo Header Exhaust.
-TD04 IHI Turbo.
-Downpipe.
-Turbo to Watercooler 2.5" Pipes.
-New Intake Pipes with K&N Air Filter.
-Mocal Racing Oil Cooler.
-Phantom Grip LSD to differential.
-Fixed Broken Gear Box Selector Fork.
-Replaced Broken Clutch Pressure Plate.
-New ISV Valve and rerouted.
-New Bosch O2 Sensor, OEM Blue Temp Sensor.
-Race Thermostat and Fan Switch.
-VDO Oil Pressure Gauge.
-DubforceTuning Custom Chip.
-Lot of interior work like new roof black fabric, sunroof switch console, door/window trims, Mk4 GTI gear knob and boot, etc.
-MSD Blaster 2 Coil.
-Iridium NGK Sparg Plugs.
-Fixed Sunroof completely.
-Thermal tape to most of the wiring.
-VFs Turbo Blanket Shield.
-Header and Downpipe wrapped with thermal tape.
-Dual Stage Boost Controller.
-Reworked all the wiring.
-New body paint.
-Replaced all suspension and steering components.

I have bought some tools to fine tune the ECU.

-Innovate LC-2 Wideband O2 controller.
-Innovate LMA-3 RPM, MAP, IDC, EGT logger.
-Moates Ostrich 2.0 Eprom emulator.

I am pretty sure I did more, but not listed here. Two years has past since I began and I do not remember everything, but finally I am just about to finish it 100%. Engine is 100% finished. Just some interiors, exteriors and painting left to do.

Right now I am just very happy to have the car running great and in at its best, that I've decided enjoy it for some weeks as it is and after that will continue the rest.

I will update any news.

Best regards,
Luiz

Wishlist :
-Side skirts.
-Sound / Heat deadener mats for the entire car (already in the way).
-15" Wheels and Semislicks tires for Autocrossing.
-Koni oranges, Tokiko or KYB new shocks for a more confortable ride. The Koni yellows are just too hard for the bumpy and in bad shape streets on my city.
-New front Windshield Glass. Mine has a crack. Not easy to find this here considering there are just two Corrados in my city and very few here in Peru.
