Information / Adjustments : History:I am the 3rd owner. The first owner was in the Luftwaffe and was training with the the American Air Force in Texas. He bought the Corrado in Wichita Falls, Texas. After the training he returned to Germany. Years later he returned to the USA with his family. He then sold the car. The second owner owned the Corrado for 6 months, afterwhich I bought it from him in Playa del Rey, California, since the young man had to move from California to New York due to business. Mods: new tempered Hella fog lights, German Spec Headlights (mod from before I purchased it), new glass for headlights (not in Fotos posted), new vertical adjusters for the headlights, new oil pressure sender, new VW symbols front and back (not in fotos posted), new heater core, new hood release cable, new ignition switch for automatic seatbelts, new cv boots, new wheel bearing, new black plastic for around the console, new beige plastic for around the hand brake, new headlight swithc, AC norm/max switch, new Bosch air filter, exaust was cracked (repaired it by getting it welded), low temperature fan switch and thermostat just bought new tires. They are ultra high performance Bridgestone Potenzas rated up to 168mph (not in the photos) |
