Hello!
I have just bought myself a set of BORBET A's, 9Jx16'' ET15, with 215/40/16 tyres.
But as I then realised, there are quite a few problems with them.
Firstly, the rims dont go on the front, becouse the original front breakes are too big, so you need a 10mm spacer, for the back, it's best that you look at these two pictures:

Hope that helped a bit.

Regards Damjan

that looks to much sticking out,,,, so it is better to use an ET of 25mm on the rear i think? or it depends on the kind of wheels to be used? i got this response for tunershop..

Thank you for contacting TUNERSHOP. Independently from the width all wheels from 7,5 up to 9x16 will fit on the corrado as long the offset is between 15 and 25. If you would provide me with the specs and wheel type I would be able to give you exact informations about fitment, brake clearance, etc.
It is absolutely no problem to go with 9x16 on the rears. The corrado has enough space for 9" wide wheels. Most of the wheels will fit the 5-lug corrado, except the DZ Exclusives. With DZ wheels you will need a set of 20mm spacers on the front to clear the VR6 brakes. Keskin KT1 and AZEV A will both fit in 7,5x16 for the front

From my experience (and believe me i have done my homework on this ), the most suitable aftermarket wheel application for the Corrado (the one closest to factory specs) is et35 7x16''all round!!!
Of course 7,5-8 or even 9'' would look much better, but then u have to "play" with adjustable coilovers, wheels spacers, arch modifications etc...
7,5'' is the highest you can go for front without modifying the arhces and 8 in the rear.
My Corrado is now wearing 7,5x16'' et25 all round, no wheel spacers and is lowered on adjustable coilovers about 3'' and rubs slightly at the rear on bad roads etc (but it's a G60). Remember, the VR6 has wider arches and wings so may not rub with the application similar to mine

Hope that helps Tell me your opinion...

i have Brock B2 rimms, 9j , tyres are 215/40/16 with hard suspention,
1 disadvantage is that with 215/40/16 it scratches a little fenders on rear side, and mine fenders are folded inside. but this new year i went to eastern europe, where is a lot of snow, and put on my rimms 205/45/16 dunlop winter tires, rides smooth and nothing scrathes, but was some difficulty to put them on - on such wide rimms.

I have 18" AEZ Simas-X rims (5x100 ET35 - 7.5x18 215/35ZR18) with only spacers upfront. I don't have any problems with those rims because I'm using the standard suspension right now. At the back it looks a bit high on it's wheels therefore a colleague calls it the 'Corrado Country' . I don't think it's too high but I'm thinking about taking an air suspension (air ride). I don't know what the exact possible set up (lowering) will be. Because the rims are so big the tires are extremely flat. Therefore it

i run 8" Fronts and 9" rears.
ET35 with trimmed rears and rolledfronts.
The plan is to pull the flat spot out of all four sides to allow me to go wider lips and lower.
