I see a lot of new reactions on different personal profiles about Xenon headlights. Perhaps it could be interesting for all of us to join those thoughts in a Forum topic. Perhaps people can express there points of view and experiences with different kinds of Xenon solutions available on the market now a days. What works and what not. Perhaps some inside information about types of brands, how much K is needed and how to mount a unit yourself. All thoughts are welcome. Greetz Johan

I personaly don't like that a xenon kit demands to drill an extra hole in the headlights.

Also my experience with the APK are bad, they say my lights don't give a good 'view' to the road Maybe its because my kit makes use of H1 bulbs instead of H4. My set was from koen.be

Can someone suggest a solutions for this problem or knows better options for this kind of modifications. Or do I have to buy a spare set of headlights to keep the original one for the classic parts 'department' and 'abuse' the second hand lights. Greetz Johan

That is correct, Peter van Meel insured me that drilling in important units is not needed, so the system of PvM is a good option, i'm considering one of my one in the future

A very convincing commercial that states your case Jeroen can be found on YouTube.

There is nothing illegal about Xenon. The legislations in the Netherlands allow drivers with license plates before 2005 (such is the case with a Corrado) to modify without the necessary adjustments like dynamic headlamp levelling devices and a headlamp cleaning system. You can read all the details - in Dutch unfortunately for those abroad - on the following website.

hello
well my experience wit xenon is bad. When i bought my corrado it had xenon. the bulb was as it normaly is h4. I constantly had that my fuses didnt break but just melt away... could be a problem in the wiring. but it also ''burnt'' my headlight. because of the xenon the reflecting part ''chroom'' turned vaag and didnt reflect as good anymore.
so i got rid of it!

this is my experience. but maybe i didnt had a good kit.

I Got a xenon 10.000 K
At first both my fuses burned by lighting the xenon.
after making a relais wiring, never had a problem again.
i got the xenon 1,5 years ago.

sadly i also needed to drill a hole in the backside of the lamp(angel eyes)
